How Does It Work?
- The science is simple: eggs are collected, frozen and stored for future use. As egg quality and quantity reduce over time, freezing eggs early, ideally in one's 20s or early 30s, significantly increases the chances of a successful pregnancy later.
- In India, eggs can be stored for up to 10 years, under the Government of India's Assisted Reproductive Technology (Regulation) Act, 2021. These cannot be transferred to another country during that time.
- Before freezing, you'll need to undergo basic fertility and health assessments to ensure your body is ready. From there, the process is medically guided and tightly regulated, offering both safety and reassurance.
