In vitro fertilisation (IVF) has helped many take control of their fertility journey. Widely considered the most effective fertility treatment available today, it supports individuals and couples in overcoming a range of fertility challenges with expert care.

Why TMTC ?
Your Journey with Us
How does it work?

- The process involves fertilising an egg with sperm outside the body, in a laboratory.
- The resulting embryo is gently placed into the uterus, where it has the chance to grow into a healthy pregnancy.
- IVF may be recommended for various fertility challenges, including low sperm count, low egg numbers, blocked fallopian tubes, endometriosis or even when there’s no obvious explanation for infertility.
- Success in IVF depends on a personalised treatment plan tailored to each patient’s unique needs, the expertise of the medical team, and the advanced technology used at the clinic.
When you choose IVF through TMTC,
you can be assured that:
IVF with Own Eggs
and Sperm
For many couples and individuals, using their eggs and sperm for IVF is the preferred route to conception.

How Does It Work?
- IVF begins with hormone treatments to stimulate your ovaries to produce multiple eggs.
- Once mature, these eggs are retrieved in a short procedure under sedation. They are then fertilised in the lab using your partner’s sperm or donor sperm.
- After monitoring embryo development, a high-quality embryo is transferred to your uterus in a carefully timed cycle.
IVF with Donor Eggs
Some hopeful parents may require donor eggs due to factors such as age, early menopause, or other fertility-affecting conditions.

How Does It Work?
- In fresh egg donation cycles, eggs collected from the donor are fertilised in the lab with sperm from your partner or a sperm donor.
- The fertilised embryo is then transferred to your uterus, which has been prepared with hormone treatment. Typically as a single embryo transfer to maximise success and minimise risks. Any spare top-grade embryos will be frozen for your use at a later date.
- You also have the option of a sequential embryo transfer. The donor egg and your partner’s sperm are fertilised and the embroy(s) is frozen for transfer at a later date/stage.
IVF with Donor Sperm
If using a partner’s sperm is not an option, IVF with donor sperm provides a pathway to parenthood. In this process, eggs are fertilised in the laboratory with anonymous donor sperm, and a single embryo is transferred to the uterus.

How Does It Work?
- The process begins with hormone treatments to stimulate your ovaries to produce multiple eggs. Once the eggs are mature, they are retrieved in a short, minimally invasive procedure.
- In the lab, the retrieved eggs are fertilised using carefully screened, anonymous donor sperm from a licensed sperm bank in India.
- Embryologists then monitor the development of the embryos and select the healthiest one for transfer to your uterus in a precisely timed cycle.
Embryo Transfer

The embryo transfer is a simple, painless procedure performed under ultrasound guidance by our fertility consultants. It does not require anaesthesia. We aim for a single embryo transfer to optimise outcomes and reduce the chance of multiple pregnancies. Any remaining viable embryos are frozen and stored for future use if needed.
Pregnancy Test and Follow-Up

About 10 to 14 days after embryo transfer, a pregnancy test is performed to confirm success. If positive, the first pregnancy ultrasound is scheduled about 2-3 weeks later to confirm a healthy, ongoing pregnancy. You will be referred to your GP for antenatal care.
