Dr Hemant Sharma brings over 26 years of rich experience in orthopaedics, with an extensive career spanning India and England. A certified Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, he completed his MBBS from PGIMS Rohtak (1994), followed by advanced orthopaedic and trauma training across India and the UK. His specialist expertise has been shaped through multiple prestigious fellowships in the UK, complemented by ongoing participation as both delegate and faculty at leading national and international conferences. Dr Sharma currently serves as the Chairman – Orthopaedics, Joint Replacement & Spine Surgery at Marengo Asia Hospitals, Gurugram. He is highly regarded for his expertise in robotic, hip, and knee surgeries, contributing immensely to establishing the hospital as a centre of excellence for robotic orthopaedic surgery and sports injury management. With extensive experience performing complex trauma and elective orthopedic procedures in both India and the UK, Dr Sharma is especially recognised for his skill in revision trauma and revision arthroplasty surgeries. His clinical interests also include young adult hip disorders, developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH), sickle cell–related hip conditions, joint preservation surgeries for the knee, and sports injuries of the hip and knee.
